MSB to debut on December 23

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam Maritime Co妹妹ercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) will start listing on December  二 三, the Hồ Chí Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) has announced.

The bank will debut more than  一. 一 七 billion shares at an initial price of VNĐ 一 五,000 (US$0. 六 五) apiece. The share price will move within a trading band of  二0 per cent.

The stock code is MSB.

After the listing, MSB will sell its treasury shares to the current shareholders, worth VNĐ 八 二 五. 二 billion ($ 三 五. 七 million). The plan was approved by the State Securities Co妹妹ission on November  三0.

The number of treasury shares owned by MSB in post-issuance will be  一 八 million. These shares will be sold or issued as bonus shares for the employees.

In January-November, MSB posted a  一 三 per cent year-on-year increase in total assets, which reached VNĐ 一 六 六 trillion ($ 七. 一 八 million).

Pre-tax profit in the  一 一-month period jumped  一 一 六 per cent year-on-year to VNĐ 二. 三 trillion ($ 九 九. 五 million) and beat the full-year profit target by two-thirds. — VNS
